The Gaggenau extractors
Clear the air while you create
The modern kitchen is not simply a place to create cuisine, it is also a living, entertaining and family space. As such, good ventilation becomes ever more important. Whether our extractors are making a bold statement or quietly, effortlessly, clearing the air, the 400 and 200 series extractors are vital for the private kitchen. Controlled manually or automatically, mounted on the ceiling, on the wall, within cupboards or on the cooktop, all Gaggenau extractors have been designed with discretion and airflow in mind.
SOPHISTICATION in SUBTRACTION
Discreet ventilation solutions within cabinetry preserve both design, and air, purity. At the chef’s disposal are two telescopic hoods, activated by sliding out, either manually or motorised, as well as a canopy hood that is all but invisible.A choice of hoods
At a touch, the motorised panel of the telescopic hood emerges, its 90 cm anthracite or natural aluminium frame complements your design vision. The manual telescopic option is activated by pulling its 90 or 60 cm anthracite aluminium frame while the 90 or 60 cm canopy hood remains hidden whether in use or not
All offer a dimmable LED stripe and intuitive interfaces of power, lighting and fan speed buttons, while Automatic mode (unlocked via the Gaggenau Home Connect app) allows it to select its optimal fan speed based upon the vapours its sensor detects.

The addition of unseen extraction
There is a choice of two extractors that emerge from the countertop when the need arises. The stainless steel 400 series option offers dimmable illumination in 90 or 120 cm. While from November 2026, the 200 series now compliments both the gloss and matte finish of cooktops and is 80 or 90 cm of clear glass.
Thanks to Gaggenau Home Connect, you can control the 200 series extractor via a compatible cooktop and change the colour of the ambient lighting of the clear glass that rises up.

Vario downdraft ventilation
Seamlessly fitting into your choice of bespoke Vario cooktop configuration, the downdraft ventilation enables the removal of vapour, smell and heat, at source, without getting in the way of the chef or their guests. Both 400 and 200 series are 15 cm wide, offer dish-washer safe grease filters and can be set to automatic: their sensors determining the power level required.

Flex induction cooktops with integrated ventilation
The combination of cooktop and ventilation enables open-plan cooking. Odours and vapour are removed at source, without the need for large, overhead extractors getting in the way of entertaining, or the view. The 200 series is 80 cm wide with a removable Twist Pad control, while the 400 series is 90 cm with illuminated controls on the vertical surface of the kitchen unit.

Unseen extraction
The 200 series ceiling ventilation is brushed finished, in Gaggenau Light Bronze and a full 120 cm wide. Discreet, sitting flush with the ceiling, its power levels are adjusted via a convenient remote control.

Highlights

Sleek, quiet, efficiency
The powerful 200 series wall-mounted extractor is a timeless 90 cm design offering an aluminium-framed dark glass control panel. Dimmable lights, three power levels as well as an intensive mode can all be controlled via compatible cooktops.
At 120 cm wide, the 400 series’ large, professional angled baffle filters and powerful motor ensure this extractor offers highly efficient odour and vapour removal while illuminating your cooking area via unseen, dimmable LEDs.
