Gaggenau assembled a distinctive group of design enthusiasts from across India for an unforgettable journey to its roots — a curated experience that offered a deep, personal encounter with the brand’s heritage, engineering excellence, and unmatched craftsmanship.
This was more than a visit; it was an immersive exploration of Gaggenau’s legacy. Themed “The Elevation of Gravity,” the journey was designed to shift perspectives on design and performance, offering an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into the brand’s artisanal techniques and values.

The Paris Prelude – Design, Culture & Cuisine
The experience began in Paris, setting the tone with refined elegance and cultural immersion. Guests were welcomed with lunch at the Hyatt Regency Paris, followed by a scenic city tour. The evening concluded with a fine dining experience aboard the Seine River Cruise, featuring a curated wine-paired dinner — the perfect introduction to the sensory and aesthetic journey ahead.

Brand Immersion – Gaggenau Showroom, Paris
The next chapter unfolded at the Gaggenau Flagship Showroom in Paris. Within an architecturally striking space, guests were introduced to the full Gaggenau product range. This immersive brand presentation brought to life the core pillars of Gaggenau — innovation, visual refinement, and meticulous craftsmanship — which have long defined the brand’s presence in the world of kitchen design.
The Paris chapter concluded with a luxurious dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Les Haras in Strasbourg, a Michelin One Key property that exemplifies the same design sensibilities celebrated by Gaggenau.

Where Craft Meets Heritage – Gaggenau Factory, Lipsheim
The highlight of the experience was a visit to Gaggenau’s renowned factory in Lipsheim. Here, guests had the rare opportunity to witness the transformation of raw materials into the brand’s signature appliances. From the legendary EB333 oven to every detail of production, the tour offered an intimate look at the precision and care behind each creation.
An authentic German-style lunch, cooked in Gaggenau ovens and served in the factory cafeteria, gave guests a flavorful taste of the product's performance. The journey also included a visit to the nail forging workshop — a symbolic tribute to the brand’s origins — where each guest hand-forged a piece of Gaggenau history, creating a personal connection to its artisanal legacy.

A Culinary Finale – Michelin-Starred Farewell
The experience culminated in Strasbourg with a memorable farewell dinner at AU Crocodile, a Michelin One Star gourmet restaurant. Chef Romain Brillat prepared an exquisite eight-course tasting menu paired with fine wines. The culinary journey included refined dishes such as roasted scallops with topinambour, hazelnut and buffalo tomme cheese, Perlita sturgeon with caviar in a delicate watercress sauce, lamb with white asparagus, and a show-stopping dessert of iced and creamy Madagascar vanilla encased in a crystal sugar ball.

Lasting Impressions
This remarkable journey beautifully wove together Gaggenau’s industrial heritage and its spirit of contemporary innovation. It celebrated the brand’s commitment to design excellence and artisanal mastery, while creating a space for meaningful connections among India’s top architects and designers. More than an experience, it became a shared story of creativity, inspiration, and craftsmanship — one that will continue to resonate long after the journey ended.
